CELEBRATING THE BOUNTY OF NAPA VALLEY

Napa Valley in winter is my favorite time of year — the chilly mornings, the crisp, fresh air as you move through your day, and the quiet time to visit wineries.

Also, it's a fantastic time to explore content for social media. Both restaurants and wineries experience the same lull in visitation, which means I'm dedicated to bringing content to life online.

Here are a few features and tactics I've been exploring on social media:

  • You may have noticed fewer tags on reels. Instagram has a new feature where you can categorize your content with a section called "topics." I'm utilizing this feature on all reels moving forward.

  • Reels - I know I've pushed the importance of this since you met me. At every possible point, I'm working to add reels into your feed. This is short three-second videos, longer form content, and any trends I believe apply to your business.

  • Spark connections - Each day, every customer is responded to, comments are reacted to and stories are either liked or interacted with by me. Why is that so vital? One, it shows Instagram you are active on your profile. Two, building meaningful connections with your audience is critical. Gone are the days of Instagram where your follower count matters — it's all about building a community around your brand.
